My Story

The image is a cartoon version of me, drawn in the style of Lizzie McGuire. The cartoon me has one hand on her hip and one hand gesturing to the side. She wears a black shirt, gray pants and leopard print shoes.
Designer:

My professional work as a designer is rooted in creating inviting and intuitive web and native applications to help users understand the world around them. My projects have included advocating for animals, the environment, and worker health & safety, educating taxpayers on government spending, and bringing education advocates together to promote equity. Through educating ourselves and advocating for each other, design can truly be a tool for changing the world, and that's what I aim to do.

Arts Administrator:

My background in non-profit arts administration has prepared me for fast-paced work environments with a flare for adding fun and building community with teammates and patrons. I'm a thorough and consistent communicator who loves creating camaraderie for positive and engaging work environments. I excel in connecting with people through pop culture, mental health, and equity & inclusion.

Creator:

I have been a creator my entire life. Alongside my Gramma, I learned to quilt and scrapbook and how color and pattern can be used to create timeless designs. To this day, one of my favorite activities is learning new creative skills - quilting, weaving, knitting, crochet, beading, embroidery, punch needle, and calligraphy are just a few. I love thinking about how physical and digital designing use the same processes.
